Irish Creek Stables is first and foremost a teaching institution, providing a well-rounded program for all ages and abilities.
We specialize in stadium jumping and eventing. Irish Creek's head trainer, Liz Lewis is a certified coach who is committed to providing superior service for the equestrian community. We teach riding skills in small groups, matched in age and ability. There is an excellent selection of well-trained horses and ponies and our staff will guide you from novice to advanced, with care and expertise.
Lessons run year-round with winter classes taking place in our indoor arena. In the summer, riding lessons spread out over our outdoor riding rings and group lessons can include hacking in the Irish Creek Forest. Students should allow enough time to groom their horse before and after each lesson.
Each rider needs a helmet for personal safety and boots with a heel. Helmets are essential safety equipment and each student must have their own.
All riding school students must arrive a half hour before their lesson time as they are responsible for getting their horse ready for the lesson. We do provide tack up staff for your assistance however they need your cooperation in allowing adequate time to tack up. Those riders who are late for tacking up may lose riding lesson time. It is the riders responsibility to be in the ring on time.
